Gut-Friendly Cocktail Recipe: The Kombucha Mule

When you find yourself reaching for a drink to celebrate a special occasion (no, unfortunately making it to 5pm each day does not count as a special occasion) trade your sugar-bomb of a cocktail for this gut-friendly libation. A take on the classic Moscow mule, this cocktail replaces ginger beer with ginger-flavored kombucha. Kombucha is a bubbly beverage full of probiotics, or healthy bacteria, which help with everything from digestion to mental health. 

The Kombucha Mule
Makes 1 cocktail

1.5 oz vodka
¾ oz fresh lime juice
3 oz ginger flavored kombucha
Lime wedge for serving

Combine all ingredients except for the kombucha and lime wedge in an ice-filled glass. Top with kombucha and garnish with lime wedge.
